Ob-ses-sion!

So as my husband would say "Do you think you have an obsession with....." He cracks me up because he says this whenever I have a lot of something or replace a lot of something. Well, he is SO right! (But shhhhh... don't tell him I admitted it.) I guess you can say my latest obsession (one that I finally can admit to) is nail polish. Not just your average princess or hot pink but blue, purple, burgundy, if it is dark, it is mine! I really wonder if I will ever go through and empty all the bottles before my the color fad wears off. I will wear them as long as I possibly can! Lucky for me, I live in SoCal where we rock open toed shoes almost 365 days a year. Here are a few of my favorites. Maybe they will be yours too! Enjoy!

Pink is the word - spread it!

Hi, fashion friends!

So here it is, the first post. I have been waiting for months for the "perfect" topic and couldn't bring myself to "go ahead and be a blogger". You know, sitting down and writing what's in my heart. Well here it is a blog post about something that makes my heart happy and sad at the same time. Most of us know someone who has been affected by breast cancer. My auntie was diagnosed over 10 years ago and my family has been given an amazing gift to still have her with us (and kickin' booty every day). She is celebrating her 55th birthday on Oct. 2nd and October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Soooo, hence the intro to my "perfect" first blog. There is a ton of PINK POWER fashion and style out there that supports the cause. Most of these sites give back and donate a portion of the proceeds to breast cancer research. I included some pictures from my cousin's inspirational adventure last month at the AVON Walk for Breast Cancer in Santa Barbara. She (and about 2500 others) walked 40 miles over 2 days and she kept telling us "chemo doesn't get blisters". Exactly! Enjoy and please support your local breast cancer efforts and awareness.
