Love at first sight

Happy New Year all! We spent the holiday visiting our friends (and their adorable 7mo old twins) in Las Vegas. Most of you would go straight to the strip and casinos right? Not this girl, we headed to the Outlet mall! This mall is mainly clothing so of course the men were bored, but we did well with power shopping until.....we went into the Coach outlet. Have you ever set your eyes on something so beautiful that it was literally love at first sight? This was a moment where I am almost positive that I heard angels singing in the background (that could have been holiday music still playing over the store speakers) but I like to think otherwise. There she was, the most lovely turquoise patent leather handbag on the bottom of the clearance shelf just waiting for me to take her home. The Coach Outlet had it uber marked down and this day had an additional 20% off!!! How could I possibly day "No" to her! It was seriously a match made in heaven! I have a deal with myself not to make impulsive purchases over $100 so sadly I went back to the house without her. I could not stop talking about her and convinced myself there was a very suitable and practical reason why I should return the next day and take her home. My amazingly kind husband understood my moment of love at first sight with someone (thing) other than him and took me back there the next day. Lucky for me (and my new love) the 20% sale was still happening and she was right where I left her!!!! My first purchase of 2011 is posted below. Please share your experiences of "love at first sight" - would like to hear that I am not crazy! LOL!.
